Friends of the Library
Dear Neighbors,
The Friends was established in 1966 by a small group of dedicated volunteers motivated by a desire to make a difference in their library. Over the years, the Friends of the Waterbury Public Library have supported improved library facilities and services for the Waterbury community.
What We Do
The library budget does not cover everything and the contributions to our Annual Appeal allow the Friends to provide our library with additional and enhanced programs, activities, and services.
Join the Friends!
Our small volunteer group can always use more help. When you join the Friends, you can help us brainstorm and coordinate fun events fundraisers to support the library. To join, reach out to us by email or come to a meeting.
We generally meet the 1st Monday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Sal Room.
