About the Library

The Waterbury Public Library is on two floors at the rear entrance of 28 North Main Street in Waterbury.

The FIRST FLOOR has all the children’s materials and the Program Room (‘Sal Room’), as well as the Help Desk (a.k.a. Circulation Desk), public computers, a Digital Cafe, and a public copier/printer. We suggest a donation of 10 cents per page for printouts or copies.

The SECOND FLOOR has the Adult and Young Adult (YA) collections, as well as two small meeting/study rooms, and two comfortable, bright reading areas. We highly recommend that you call to reserve one of the study rooms in advance if needed (see our Meeting Room Availability page for more information).
