Sunday June 15th

Join us on Father’s Day to explore up close an ambulance, a firetruck, a school bus, construction vehicles, tractors, oil trucks, a race car, and more! Along with the trucks there will be activity booths, face painting, and food options.

11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Discover a world where owls turn pink, and tree trunks can blink! Meet three of our animal ambassadors, and learn how nature’s palette can startle, impress, and even fool the eye! Witness the rainbow of techniques our wildlife uses to hunt, hide, and survive in this 45 minute program geared towards families and children of all ages.

Exordium: Camouflage in Nature w/ Mr. K

Learn how animals, insects and plants use color and camouflage to ensure they get their next meal or keep from being eaten as the next meal. Hands-on activities underscore the use of color and texture as a means of staying hidden.

Popsicle Day and Raffle Drawing

Raffle Drawing at 12:00 pm.

Last chance to stop by the library to turn in your summer reading log for prizes and kids will also get a free popsicle! Teen raffle prize drawing will be held at 12 noon.

TEEN SUMMER READING RAFFLE

6/15 – 8/8

Kids going into 5th grade & up may participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program. You can download the game board on our website or pick one up at the library. After that, come to the help desk to pick up your incentives and to fill out your grand prize raffle entry tickets!!

Read differently this summer! Download or pickup our regular or “wicked hard” bingo sheet at the library. Return your completed “bingo” card to be entered into a drawing for fun prizes!
