Teaching ALL Students to Read: Understanding Vermont’s New Literacy Law

Tuesday & Thursday, October 22nd & 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the Library’s SAL Room


Educators Nicole Chick, M.S., Ed., Dr. Dorinne Dorfman, Ed.S, and Kathryn Grace M.Ed, CAGS present a two part series on Understanding Vermont’s New Literacy Law.

Tuesday’s program addresses understanding how the brain works and teaching methods to target literacy gaps, while Thursday’s tackles Phoneme-Grapheme mapping which helps teachers and students better understand the alphabetic principle.

The workshops are for parents and caregivers, educators and anyone interested in literacy.
